Our expedition commences in Kathmandu, Nepal’s vibrant capital, where you will explore iconic ancient temples, UNESCO World Heritage Sites, and immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of the region. From there, our knowledgeable guides will lead you into the mystical highlands of Tibet, where you will encounter the majestic Mount Kailash—a sacred peak revered by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, and adherents of Bon.

Throughout this pilgrimage, you will traverse serene valleys, ascend formidable mountain passes, and be surrounded by snow-capped peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and expansive grasslands. A highlight of the journey is the three-day circumambulation (kora) around Mount Kailash, where you will follow the footsteps of countless pilgrims, deepening your spiritual journey. You will also have the opportunity to visit the holy Lake Mansarovar, renowned for its purifying and rejuvenating properties, immersing you in its sacred waters.

Beyond the spiritual realm, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra offers an unparalleled opportunity to explore the natural beauty and cultural heritage of the region. From Kathmandu’s bustling streets to the tranquil monasteries of Tibet, every facet of the journey has been meticulously crafted to provide a profound sense of fulfillment and a profound connection with the cosmos. Our seasoned guides, well-crafted itineraries, and the unwavering support of Amigo Treks and Expeditions ensure that your yatra is both inspiring and seamless. An experienced Nepali tour leader and a knowledgeable Tibetan guide will accompany you throughout this yatra. The package includes all the necessary permits and visas, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free journey. To enhance your comfort, travelers are provided with a sleeping bag and a down jacket.

Tibetan Buddhists believe that completing 108 circuits around Mount Kailash guarantees enlightenment in this lifetime. However, even a single kora holds significant spiritual benefits. The number 108 holds profound symbolism in various Eastern religions, representing spiritual completeness.

A holy journey in every sense. I carried the prayers of my family with me and returned feeling lighter. The guide had deep knowledge of both Hindu and Buddhist interpretations of Kailash.

Chime Tashi

Fulfilling and emotional. The team managed all permits and checkpoints smoothly. Do prepare physically beforehand — the altitude is no joke.

Pranaya Karki

I joined this pilgrimage with my sister, and we felt safe and supported the entire way. Accommodations were simple, as expected, but spiritually the journey was very rich.

Meera Desai

A lifelong dream finally fulfilled. The yatra was organized with care and understanding for senior travelers. Darshan at Mansarovar was peaceful beyond words.
